Worship Every Sunday morning at 9:30 am.

Worship - that's what we do at Old Pine. It's our primary activity. We praise God. We delve into the sacred story. We gather at the font and table. In the midst of this rich interweaving of scripture and sermon, song, and prayer, the Old Pine community shares its joys and concerns in prayer and extends the hand of fellowship to all who walk through the doors. Old Pine's worship offers an opportunity to reflect quietly, to hear God's word in Scripture, sermon and song, and examine how it intersects with the world we live in. We leave in peace - refreshed, challenged perhaps, and strengthened because we have been with God and with one another.

5th Annual Mission Trip July 24-31

The team has returned home.  This year we headed to Huntington, West Virginia to help that community recover from floods in the Spring of 2009.  Thanks to Beth G, Terry, Brittany, Megan, Doug, Jeanne and Beth VW for a job well done!

Saturday for Seniors Program

Since 1978, the Saturday for Seniors Program has provided a meal and fellowship to seniors in our community.  Each Saturday morning at the Old Pine Community Center, 4th and Lombard Streets, we start at 9:30am to prepare the meal which is served at Noon and we are done by 1:30pm.  Eight volunteers are needed to prepare the meal, serve, visit with seniors and clean-up. The need is especially great during the summer months when many regular volunteers are on vacation. If you can join us at 9:30am or at 11:30am for serving, please call 215-627-2493. (Note: there is no program July 3rd or Sept 4th due to the holidays).

"Without sharing time, and sharing it in sufficient amounts to let community take root and grow, it is impossible to share a common life with other people. When time is withheld, community withers."
